Tara is a brutally sensitive actor. Wicked smart, she uses her intelligence to make a direct connection to the core of a character, from blue collar to upper echelon.

About me --
Originally from Philly, PA, New York was always the dream, so I came here as soon as I graduated from conservatory at the University of the Arts. Life has taken me from singing and dancing to acting and filmmaking to working every job you can imagine.
As an actor, I have worked in U.S. Regional Theaters, on International and National tours, and in New York, originating roles such as Chevette in Joshua Conkel's smash hit HOUSE OF VON MACRAME at the Obie Award Winning Bushwick Starr in Brooklyn, directed by Nick Leavens.
I played Martha in UNICORNLAND, which won the Audience award in the Around International Film Festival, and was an official selection at the New Orleans Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, Toronto Web Festival, and the NY Indie Theatre Film Festival.
As a producer, I've raised money for several organizations through benefit concerts including Broadway Battles Bullying at NYU Skirball and Ladies Rock!!! for GEMS - Girls Educational & Mentoring Services.
In 2018, I found a mentor in playwright and screenwriter, Isabel Wright, while getting my masters at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She encouraged me to nurture my writing, and so I started writing and performing my own material. My one-woman show, The Affair, debuted at The Tron, in Glasgow, and then again, to benefit the national charity, the Faces & Voices of Recovery UK, a few months later. In the fall of 2019, I wrote and premiered another one woman show, God Sized Hole, in London.
In 2021, I was a recipient of a $5,000 Artist Corps Grant in NYC that recognized my debut film, FREE. FREE has been officially selected and awarded in festivals all over the world including Toronto, Paris, Florence, Brazil and New York. As an actor, I have been seen in films at the Around International Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, Raindance, Toronto Web Festival and the NY Indie Theatre Film Festival. While in residency at Shakespeare’s Globe, I performed as Rosalind in As You Like It.
I love traveling, developing new writing and reading memoirs. I've worked as a waitress, bartender, freelance executive assistant to several CEOs, a recovery coach and a reiki practitioner to name a few. I love producing and uplifting communities by sharing stories through film and on stage. Through my work and in my life, I hope to bring light to the darkness, make space for sharing the narratives that often go unheard or misunderstood and collaborate on a deeper level to share stories that move and inspire.
