Tara Louise Bruno has been a freelance producer since 2011. She started coordinating concerts called Ladies Rock! to benefit organizations like GEMS to serve survivors of sexual assault. In 2014, she was an associate producer on Broadway Battles Bullying at NYU Skirball.
This past September, she curated a film festival from a global cohort of filmmakers for CHOOSE LOVE at the Wythe Hotel to benefit refugees all over the world.
Most recently, she traveled to Africa, after hiring a local crew there, to shoot the short documentary, MBELE IKO SAWA, showcasing the impact of rotary club investments in the beautiful community of Barut, Kenya.
Tara has a proven track record in project and event management from development through distribution and execution. She brings a depth and complexity into story development and script analysis with a deep understanding of creative collaboration and audience engagement.

Film benefit at The Wythe Hotel to raise $$$ for humanitarian aid
Choose Love: A Celebration of Heart and Home is a film benefit at The Wythe Hotel on September 16that 6:30 pm that will feature an international cohort of filmmakers. The evening will raise funds for Choose Love, a nonprofit that directs humanitarian aid to refugees all over the world. This women-led benefit is produced by Maricruz Menchero, Heather Colvin and Executive Producer Tara Louise Bruno of Bella Lumi Productions.
The films for the evening include Rafa Renas' The Salon, Maryam Mir’s Sweet Refuge, Roopa Gogineni’s Suddenly TV, and Liam LoPinto’s The Old Young Crow by Executive Producer Arian Moayed (Succession, Inventing Anna, Spider-Man: No Way Home), among others.
